Last year brought with it a lot of bad news, but in December, Lincoln ended things on a high note. That’s when J.D. Power released the results of its 2020 Sales Satisfaction Index Study — and Lincoln came out on top for luxury brands. This move to the top rank shows tremendous growth, as Lincoln rose five spots over the 2019 study.
This study from J.D. Power has been around for a long time — 35 years to be exact. While, each year, the study aims to capture how satisfied shoppers are with the new vehicle sales experience, this year marked a slight change. Because of the stay-at-home orders and social distancing practices arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, most dealers had to rethink their experience, including us at La Grange Lincoln in La Grange, Texas. As a result, J.D. Power put a greater emphasis on remote buying and the digital retail experience.
Lincoln’s standard Pickup and Delivery service became a key hallmark of the brand — and set it apart from other luxury automakers. This service, which accounted for over 223,000 sales experiences last year, shows Lincoln’s true dedication to happy customers and the brand’s efforts to delivery value no matter the circumstances.
“Serving our Lincoln clients in ways that extend beyond the vehicle is one of the most important and exciting opportunities for our brand,” said Michael Sprague, Lincoln’s North America director. “Despite the challenging year, by working in lockstep with our dealer partners we were able to deliver on an ownership experience that is a true representation of Lincoln luxury and, simply put – effortless.”
We pass along our congrats to Lincoln; we have full confidence that we can delivery the quality experience our customers expect, whether virtually or in person. For all your Lincoln needs in the Lone Star State, visit La Grange Texas.
